You Aint God Vol 1   (w/ Young Perion)
This was the first mixtape we had done for some time, so we figured we’d do some tongue in cheek comical ‘Were Back!!’ type shit. We holla’d at a dude we’d known for some time who was great at doing impersonations of famous people. I figured his take on Brian Blessed would be perfect for our Moses, so we gave him the rap name H White Moses!!

The story is that the Draft Pick Mix Show team lead by Knew Rulz have been in the hip hop wilderness for the equivalent of 40 days and 40 nights. In his absence, charlatans have assumed to be the leader of the mix show game, so I guess were coming back to show everyone how its done. Simple as that!

We interviewed a emcee from Hackney in East London called Young Perion, who had been making much noise with his debut mixtape ‘Fabulous Potential’. He spoke to Drematic XL and we took out the best bits and mixed that in to the show.

Alot changes in 3 years, but we were able to reach out to D Shanks to come and do what he does best and he gave us a great intro. He also has a track on here under his rap name Traum Diggs with Gas-Lab on production called ‘Yaphet Kotto’.

There’s a few good tunes on here, such as the Young Perion joint ‘Lord Have Mercy’, the A Villa track and BGR’s track with Karl Hinds, but my favourite is Milla J’s ‘Smoke, Drink, Break Up’
Enjoy!!
