Welcome back to the Draft Pick Mix Show.

We thought we’d do a mix for the younger adults this time out, with unusual names that you don’t normally see in our tracklists. The likes of Lil Baby, Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage.

We started a series called the ‘Fortnightly Reload’ back in 2016, so we thought ‘Why not resurrect this series?!’ The same way that Netflix decided to continue the old ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ movie series.

Someone sent me a newsreel clip of a sister who had to shoot a dude who was chasing her with a chainsaw…only in America! This sister decided she would give him the business, so to speak.

She was interviewed for the local TV station, wearing attire provided by the firearm maker she used to defend herself. She was cracking me up with lines like ‘He won’t be living out his Texas Chainsaw Massacre fantasies over here’.

We chopped that up and put it in between some hardcore hip hop that is definitely NOT FOR CHILDREN…. you have been warned. My favourite track is the only English tune in the mix by Centrel Cee, but brov I have to say it…There was hip hop before Grime so the real UK ‘old school’ is in the 80’s. I can’t let the kids think that Hip Hop in this country started in the noughties.
